MESSENGER (Mercury Surface, Space Environment, Geochemistry, and Ranging) hourly fluxes (Z>=1)

Data source:PDS Data System

We have computed hourly average ESPEC fluxes from sec data fluxes for (Energy mode E/Q = 0 and 2) for all energy chanels, Those data are provided for only the portion of the orbit when the spacecraft crossed the inbound bow shock, through the magnetosphere and through the outbound bow shock. Since provider mostly ran FIPS in Burst mode (Energy mode E/Q = 2) during those periods, almost all of the ESPEC data is type 2, with a time resolution of 10-11 sec. So, Mostly fluxes ~98% have E/Q = 2 mode, and ~2% haave E/Q = 0 mode with time res.~ 1min
Only arithmetic averaging was done. (No averaging of logarithms and No threshold numbers of finer scale points.)
We believe, these data will be useful for looking at large solar disturbances near Mercury
